Women’s Centres Mobilize to Call for a Feminist Economic Relaunch

To mark the first day of the Provincial Week of Action, L'R des centres de femmes du Québec releases its Joint Statement for a Feminist Economic Relaunch. Centre workers from across the province will meet with 24 MNAs. They also will participate in disruptive actions to underline the importance of including women in economic relaunch plans.

What’s needed is for government authorities to be coherent and transparent. Justice for Joyce and all other injustices not captured on video

L’R des centres de femmes du Québec issued a letter to the Québec Premier, the Minister of Health and Social Services, and the management of the CISSS de Lanaudière, to call out the inhuman treatment to which Joyce Echaquan was subjected at Joliette hospital and to demand that those responsible for her death be arrested and brought to trial.
